This adventure looks like a great place to start. As a sandbox adventure there’s plenty of room to introduce any challenges you come up with as well as have a solid inspiration and spine to the story.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1931180102/the-lost-temple-of-forgotten-evil-a-5e-osr-adventu

“The Lost Temple of Forgotten Evil is an adventure for three to seven characters between levels four and six. It is designed for use with Fifth Edition and OSR versions of Gary and Dave’s RPG. It can be adapted to any fantasy RPG.

The small town of Boldon, and its surrounding villages, are afraid. Dozens of people are missing, some speculate lost to some nefarious purpose. Tales of an evil temple and the horrible things within circulate. The few who know the legends and history of the region are beginning to think the dark times have returned, not seen since the fall of the first age of man. People are beginning to feel the icy fingers of fear closing in. Upon arrival, the party encounters a broken man, a homeless drunkard prone to incessant rambling. This inspires an investigation into the stories of a lost temple. Has it been rediscovered by men seduced by its forgotten evil? The drunkard’s tale leads to others who might help the party discover more before they face The Lost Temple of Forgotten Evil.”

H.H. Holmes Murder Castle Puzzle
H.H. Holmes is one of the most notorious serial killers in US history. This puzzle tries to show the layout of his murder castle in a much more understandable matter then just listening to descriptions.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1317441691/h-h-holmes-murder-castle-jigsaw-puzzle-and-prints

“For those unfamiliar, H. H. Holmes was a charismatic young lady killer who constructed a hotel, timed perfectly for the Chicago Worlds Fair, which operated as a massive murder machine. He used it to systematically trap and kill young women, then clean and articulate their skeletons to be sold to universities. The hotel was riddled with trap doors and hidden rooms, where guests would be trapped and tortured before ultimately thrown down the chute to the basement. To fully understand the drawing without reading the book, I encourage you to watch this short documentary which covers the basics quite well.

One thing I do wish to make clear is that I in no way intend to glorify what H. H. Holmes did by drawing the Murder Castle. In fact, I will go on record now as being profoundly anti-murder. However, one cannot deny the sheer brilliance it took to pull this off. I can only imagine what this man would have been capable of had he used his powers for good rather than evil. This illustration is intended to supplement books and podcasts on the topic and to help people visualize how the hotel that Holmes built might have looked and how it was used.”

Baby Bestiary Vol. 2
I really love this idea of the baby monsters you leave behind as you slay their valiant parents. The first book of its kind, the Baby Bestiary is the an exploration of a new kind of adventure, the raising of young monsters to become loyal companions, beloved friends or fearsome guardians.

If you are looking for something novel to spice up a fantasy roleplaying campaign, or simply want to see a different side to the creatures of fantasy art, the Baby Bestiary Book has all the monstrous cuteness you could want. We’ve brought the team together to see if you, the fans, are interested in seeing even more of the Baby Bestiary in a brand new Volume 2 and a reprint of Volume 1.”

Mutant: Genlab Alpha
This expansion to Mutant: Year Zero brings something I’m sure you didn’t even understand how much you wanted, the introductions of terribly mutated animals into the apocalyptic world.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1192053011/mutant-genlab-alpha

“This is the first major expansion to Mutant: Year Zero, the award-winning pen&paper roleplaying game by Free League Publishing and Modiphius Entertainment.
