The detail in them is amazing, and I would love to have a few them hanging on my wall.

“I’ve been painting in miniature for the last 2 years and what has emerged is the Cameo Creeps series. My love of fantasy and horror illustration coalesced into these fun and ghoulish creations. I can’t keep the original prototypes in stock, so I’ve decided the best way to satisfy the public’s bloodthirsty craving for these beyond-cool miniatures is to offer To-Scale framed reproductions.

But, to offer Cameo Creeps on a large scale I need to have the frames manufactured. These miniature cameos are near impossible to find. I have turned to Kickstarter to raise the funds needed to manufacture the frames myself. Here is your chance to be a part of the miniature monster craze that is sweeping the nation!”

Hellywood: A Noir Tabletop RPG
This French RPG is a cool-looking Noir-y suspense game in Hollywood. Plus the dice mechanics are based on Craps, how perfect is that? This is being translated by the same group that’s producing the English Aquelarre version. I’ve been reading a lot of Raymond Chandler lately, so I’m sold on the noir.

“A detailed description of the city of Heaven Harbor in 1949 is the heart of Hellywood. Players assumed the role of a tough guy or girl living in the shadows of corruption and violence. These characters are left to fashion their own code for survival, to draw their own lines for moral action.

Despite the presence of the “hornheads”, the setting is all noir. The fantastic elements are added with a light touch in part to allow the stories of Heaven Harbor to tackle difficult topics like racism, bigotry, and addiction. This is to say that Hellywood stories can pack an emotional punch deftly as a hardboiled jab to the jaw.”

Journal of Lovecraftian Science, Vol. 2
I love the idea of exploring the science behind Lovecraft’s tales, and using that for worldbuilding in your RPGs. Hopefully trying to understand the inexplicable won’t drive you insane before you’re driven completely insane.

“Volume 1 of the Journal of Lovecraftian Science included articles on a variety of subjects, including discussions on Lovecraft’s love for Science, the biology of some of Lovecraft’s entities, Einstein in a Lovecraftian universe, the short story “From Beyond” and mathematics in “The Dreams in the Witch-House.” It also included a number of articles that backers requested such as discussions on Cthulhu, how humans and Deep Ones can interbreed and the Dreamlands. In contrast to volume 1, this upcoming volume (Volume 2) will have a general theme of focusing on our Solar System.

Volume 2 of the Journal of Lovecraftian Science will include a series of articles on the components of our Solar System, integrating Lovecraft’s scientific articles and stories with the most up-to-date scientific information. The Journal will also include some fantastic illustrations by Steve Maschuck.”

RPG Tablecloth Battleground
A lot of grids you use for combat are simple white paper, or maybe a textured background. These tablecloths will provide a ton of depth and interest to the landscape, and already have a grid laid out. If you need to draw a map you can just lay a sheet of acrylic over the whole thing. And I guess if you’re really lazy, you can leave it out on your table for Thanksgiving when all of your family comes over and confirm some of their suspicions. Regardless, I think this is a great idea for in person games, and they’re working on getting all kinds of landscapes put together!

“The RPG Tablecloth Battleground is a detailed printed fabric background that not only gives your gaming table a great atmosphere but also makes it easy to visualize scenes played out with miniatures. We created two different versions to start with: Our Barren Wilderness design for outside adventures and our Ancient Ruins design for adventurers that search for treasure in lost ruins. The tablecloths are big – we wanted them to cover most gaming tables. With 50 by 72 standard 1″ scale squares the grid gives you enough room for epic large scale battles. The total size of each tablecloth is 1.5m x 2m (59” x 79”). We have carefully chosen a high quality fabric that is washable. We love these table clothes and use them in our own games and we are excited to have the opportunity of offering them to you now for what we believe is a very affordable price. In fact, we think it is so affordable that you can easily buy 2.

Actually, we love these tablecloths so much that we want more! So if you are like us you can help us create more tablecloths with other interesting designs, such as dungeons, forests, ocean, ice, desert, etc. In fact once we have 250 backers we will offer another design. And the best part is that you get to choose the design! We will let all backers vote for the next design and when we reach our target number we will create the design that has the highest votes.”

Epic Tavern
Any good quest starts in a tavern, probably given to you by the barkeep. But what do the barkeeps get out of this? Why do they know so much about what evil lurks in the surrounding area? This game lets you run your own tavern and build your own little tavern empire based on the quests you give adventurers. I love the idea and the fun they had with this concept.

“The story begins with friendship and drinks! Songs of heroic exploits, arguing over who killed the biggest dragon, and bar fights over shares of loot. Promises are made and broken, plans are set, and adventurers gear up for tomorrow’s quest.

In Epic Tavern, every quest choice made and every adventurer befriended could unlock new quests, new alliances, access to characters, items, and tavern building opportunities. The experience grows as you play – your choices will directly steer the fate of your intrepid adventurers!

You and your tavern are at the center of this experience. Your choices determine the mood and atmosphere of your establishment, bringing heroes and stories together in a social simulation of relationship building. This is where friendships and rivalries are made, and great adventures are started. In Epic Tavern, you build the destiny of your world, one drink at a time.”

Still active!

Elvenroot Collapsible Dice Tower and Dice Case
Age of Cthulhu 9: The Lost Expedition
FAITH: A Garden in Hell
OrcaCon 2017
Murders and Acquisitions RPG
Solid Copper Hand-Stamped Dice
Red Markets
Cthulhu’s Aklo
RPGMinifigs
Ungridded Coloring Books

There’s many interesting items to be found on Kickstarter, but these are the coolest ones this week.
