There’s many interesting items to be found on Kickstarter, but these are the coolest ones this week.<\/p>\n

Miniatures is seeking to add to their dice of unusual sides with mass production of a 13 sided die and a 15 sided die in 8 (now 9!) opaque colors. Impact! has a lot of experience producing odd sided dice and the designs for these dice look great and have been tested to be fair despite having an odd number of sides.<\/p>\n Impact! is working to make the best sets of RPG step dice (or dice chain sets) available. In role-playing games often as a character advances in level he gets +1 to an ability but then you need rules for a natural roll of 1 failing. Step dice\/Dice chains says the character uses the next die in the chain for the roll instead going forward which means no special rules for low rolls. (ie your Barbarian uses a D11 or D12 at level 2 for damage with his great axe instead of a D10 at level 1). Dungeon Crawl Classics and Freeblades both use this system and we are working to provide all the dice between D3 and D20 so many more RPG games can move to these mechanics going forward.”<\/p>\n Fine Art Dice Towers<\/strong><\/a> “As e-Raptor Team we have been designing board and card game accessories for a long time. \nAser and I had the opportunity to sit down and chat about Aetaltis with Marc Tassin<\/a>, and we’re really in love with the new ideas and rich world he and his team have put together. Aetaltis is a 5e setting with new monsters, expanded PC races, and some really intriguing new rules for magic. I think the extra content would be great for any GM, even if you don’t want to move your campaign to this intriguing new setting. If you like heroic fantasy gaming, definitely check out World of Aetaltis.<\/p>\n
\nI love dice. And this kickstarter will give a dice for almost any number below 20 (sadly d1, d2, d17, and d19 not included). There are a ton of color options now, including glow in the dark. I can’t think of any reason I would use most of these (since we’ve yet to try DCC), but I really think I need them in my collection.<\/p>\n
\nI really like the design of these dice towers, especially the castle one. The dragons are also incredibly stunning. If you’ve been looking for a dice tower, you should look at these for some really great options.<\/p>\n
\nThese aren’t dice in a traditional sense, but instead glasses that you can fill, and how ever much you can manage to drink in one go is your roll. I foresee these leading to a lot of really drunk game sessions!<\/p>\nStill active!<\/h4>\n
